Ultrasound guided injections may be useful for selected shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, tendon, bursa and soft tissue pain where accurate placement is important. They may be considered for chronic sports injuries, arthritis, bursitis, frozen shoulder, tendon pain, plantar fasciitis and other persistent musculoskeletal pain.
