This scan is suitable for abdominal pain, bloating, abnormal liver or kidney blood tests, gallstone symptoms, fatty liver concerns or general abdominal reassurance. Some bowel gas can limit views, but the sonographer will obtain the best images possible.

Fasting for several hours may be required for abdominal scans, especially for the gallbladder. This private abdominal ultrasound can help assess abdominal pain, bloating, gallstone symptoms, fatty liver concerns and abnormal blood test results.
