This scan is useful for abnormal liver function tests, right upper abdominal pain, suspected fatty liver, alcohol-related concerns, metabolic risk factors or follow-up of known liver findings. The result can help guide further discussion with your GP.

You may be asked not to eat for several hours before the scan so the liver and gallbladder area can be seen more clearly. This private liver ultrasound is suitable for fatty liver concerns, abnormal liver function tests and right upper abdominal pain.
