"This blood test is used to screen for coeliac disease by detecting antibodies produced in response to gluten. It is essential for individuals experiencing long-term digestive symptoms such as bloating, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, or unexplained weight loss. It is also recommended for people with unexplained anaemia, chronic fatigue, or nutrient deficiencies, and should be performed while the patient is consuming gluten.

Preparation: Continue eating gluten regularly for at least 6 weeks; no fasting."
