DHEA SULPHATE (Dehydroepiandrosterone Sulphate)

DHEA Sulphate is a hormone produced mainly by the adrenal glands and plays an important role in the production of other hormones, including testosterone and oestrogen. Measuring DHEA-S levels can help assess adrenal gland function and investigate hormonal imbalances.

This test is commonly used when symptoms such as excess hair growth, acne, irregular periods, fertility concerns, early or delayed puberty, or unexplained fatigue are present. Abnormal DHEA-S levels may be associated with conditions affecting the adrenal glands or hormone-producing tissues.

Preparation: No fasting. Drink water normally.
