We offer Anomaly scan from 18 weeks up to 23 weeks. This is a 30 minutes scan duration. The scan includes detailed anatomical examination and assessment of baby’s anatomy and growth, including measurements, assessment of amniotic fluid and placental location. A full bladder upon arrival is recommended.

The objective of this scan is to determine any abnormalities in the baby at the time of the scan. At Insight Health Services, we will always try our best to achieve this objective, but assert that there are difficulties, occasionally, depending on several factors. It is possible that certain anomalies are not clear and visible and may not be identified at the time of the scan. Ultrasound is regarded as a screening tool, and not a diagnostic test. Insight Health services take no responsibility for any anomalies that emerge or become apparent at a later stage in the pregnancy.
