The goal of this scan is to detect any visible abnormalities in the baby during the examination. At Insight Health Services, our sonographers strive to achieve this with the highest level of accuracy. However, certain limitations may arise due to fetal position, maternal factors, or the stage of development. In some cases, specific anomalies may not appear clearly or may remain undetectable during the scan. It’s important to understand that ultrasound functions as a screening tool, not a diagnostic test. For this reason, Insight Health Services cannot guarantee the identification of all conditions or accept responsibility for anomalies that become apparent later in the pregnancy.
